In most cyber-attacks, humans—and their cyber habits—are either an exploited vulnerability or a critical line of defense. As employees, we must take on strong cyber awareness behaviours to protect ourselves and the business from cyber threats.
With the amount of IP and know-how a company generates and handles, cyber security and an adequately trained workforce are essential to defending our knowledge from being lost or stolen. As such, we must get our cyber security awareness and education right.

- Knowing and applying good password practices
- Correctly handling and labeling data

- Knowing what to do when you see something suspicious
- Understanding that following our IT policies and processes has a role to play in keeping us safe
- Understand as employees that threat actors can target us for our knowledge and data
- Understand that employees have a significant role to play in keeping the business and themselves cyber-secure
- Understand where further resources, training, and support can be found for cybersecurity
- Understand how to identify and report phishing emails
- Understand what to do in the case that an employee sees suspicious activity
