This course is intended to refresh knowledge and understanding of the key elements of electrical safety and safe working procedures specific to electrical work.

At the end of this course, you will be able to:
•    State the dangers of electricity and identify hazards
•    Identify the correct PPE to be used when working on or around electrical equipment; identify measures for protection against shock
•    Identify the correct test equipment for testing and measuring on an electrical system
•    Use appropriate test equipment to prove isolation in a safe manner
•    Demonstrate the isolation of an electrical panel using recognized companies’ procedures and approved lock-off devices
